Dr. Caulin is an NF1 parent and preclinical consultant for iNFixion with over a decade of experience in health-tech and biotech, specializing in computational biology and preclinical drug development. She earned her PhD in Genomics and Computational Biology from the University of Pennsylvania where she studied the evolution of cancer suppression. After graduate school, Aleah joined a small team to build a health-tech company focused on improving access to personalized cancer treatment. Prior to her son’s NF1 diagnosis, she served as the VP of nonclinical development at Peel Therapeutics where she helped lead the advancement of an oncology drug from preclinical proof-of-concept through IND approval. Today, her work is dedicated to accelerating the development of new treatments for individuals living with NF1.
