Sara Brebbia Dirksen is based in Denmark and brings both strategic insight and lived experience to her work in the rare disease field. She is the mother of a young son with NF1 and has been dedicating her work life to Nordic and European NF1 patient advocacy efforts since 2022. Sara holds a Master of Science degree in mathematical modeling and statistics and has a professional background spanning the pharmaceutical industry, clinical development, project and portfolio management, and nonprofit leadership. Through her work, she aims to strengthen cross-border collaborations, accelerate research, and ensure that the patient voice drives meaningful impact.
